It’s finally here, my shiny new MacBook has arrived on Friday. Overally I can say that Leopard is awesome, as is the hardware. Programs are really snappy, Spaces, Spotlight, Safari (I love the search feature and the resizable textfields) are all awesome.
The only problem I have at the moment is the keyboard. I’ve chosen the german version, which does not have labels for all characters on a key. So finding some strange shortcuts can be quite tricky sometimes.
Pictures and further insights will follow.

Congratulations! Hehe, the word “snappy” is used as an inside joke at Macrumors.com eyerytime when some software update is released by Apple (”app xy feels snappier now”).
As for the keyboard: the mac layout takes some getting used to. Especially hitting “@” which is almost the opposite from Windows on a Mac. At the beginning I often hit cmd q instead thus quitting the app!

It’s really something you need to get used to. I have some problems writing code (all those braces,…), but I’m sure it’s gonna be better after a few days.
